Long Island City, NY, February 3, 2009—Christopher Owens, electrical instructor, also an Amtrack employee, has been named Instructor of the Year at Berk Trade and Business School, an award based upon demonstrated teaching excellence.

Mr. Owens also contributes to the benefit of all students,”Dr. McTague added. Mr. Owens has led student tours to local museums and construction sites to show students how the electrical skills they learn at the School contribute to the good of the community.
